Message from the Zonal Director

The Year 2009 has been declared as the ‘Year of Information and Communication Technology and English’ by the Honored President. I am happy to say that the Girls’ High School of Mt. Lavinia is among the schools that were involved in the creation of web sites for the Piliyandala Zone.
The Piliyandala Zonal Office as well as the schools has been benefited by the linking of the school web sites with that of the office. The teachers and the students are able to share their knowledge, thanks to this.
This is a great achievement of the students, staff, parents and the school management. Finally, I thank the Principal, IT Teacher-In charge and all others who were assistance in releasing this web site to the Internet.
